Governance & DAO

Model

  • Token-Weighted Voting: core governance mechanism based on token holdings.

  • Quadratic Voting (Optional): applied to specific proposals to mitigate whale dominance and ensure fairer representation.

  • Delegation: token holders may delegate their voting power to trusted representatives for more effective participation.

Proposal Lifecycle

  1. Draft: Initial discussion via community channels (Forum/Discord), requiring a minimum level of community support.

  2. On-Chain Proposal: Formal submission once the proposal threshold is met.

  3. Voting Period: Open voting window, typically lasting 5–7 days.

  4. Quorum Check: A minimum of 5–10% of circulating votes required for the proposal to pass.

  5. Queue: Approved proposals enter a timelock delay for transparency and accountability.

  6. Execute: Final step where the proposal is executed on-chain.

Guardrails & Emergency Measures

  • Temporary Guardian Multisig: active only in the early stages to pause or upgrade contracts in case of emergencies. This role is removed once the DAO governance matures.

  • Parameter Safeguards: DAO enforces limits on changes to critical parameters (e.g., fees, burn rates, emissions) to prevent economic shocks.
